Funeral Stream is the brainchild of New Plymouth based Funeral Director Richard Martin. Richard has always had an affinity with technology and how it can enhance an experience. With a career spanning broadcasting to banking, Richard joined his wife Casey, a third generation funeral director, in her family funeral business in 2015. In 2017 the couple opened their Te Henui Chapel - a venue boasting an abundance of tech to enhance the funeral experience. A key requirement of the onsite technology was to deliver a positive online experience for those who could not attend the funeral via livestreaming to the funeral home’s own website. With feedback from families and online attendees being so positive, the concept was born to create a platform that the entire funeral industry can use to deliver a similar experience on their own website, without having to build and maintain it themselves.
We've worked hard to design Funeral Stream with the Funeral Director front of mind. From the language we use to the ability for existing funeral CRMs to integrate with our platform, we want YOUR experience with us to be as good as the experience you strive to provide the families you serve. We've thrown our decades of funeral experience into this platform and know that it will serve your business, your families and your community well.
